Job Summary:
We’re seeking a dynamic leader to head our Procurement and Information Technology function, driving excellence across sourcing, supplier performance, and digital transformation. As a key member of our leadership team, the incumbent will manage procurement independently and proactively, identifying efficiencies, strengthening supplier partnerships, and embedding automation to support scalable growth.
In this high-impact role, you’ll lead the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for a market leader in cosmetics manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement procurement policies, strategies, and cost-control measures.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers with a focus on quality, reliability, and innovation.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
- Operational Excellence
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, packaging, and services for cosmetics production.
- Monitor supplier performance, deliveries, and compliance with contracts.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and ensure compliance with internal controls. - Automation & Process Improvement
- Identify bottlenecks in the current procurement process and design solutions to streamline operations.
- Lead the automation and digitization of procurement workflows (e.g., e-procurement systems, supplier portals, automated purchase orders, spend analytics).
- Introduce data-driven reporting dashboards to track procurement KPIs, supplier performance, and cost savings.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement cycle.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with production, design, research & development , and finance teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Provide procurement insights to support product innovation, sustainability, and business expansion.
- Leadership & Compliance
- Mentor and lead the procurement team, building capability and accountability.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical sourcing, and regulatory standards.
- Stay informed of cosmetic industry trends, raw material markets, and supply chain risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in the cosmetic industry
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships with suppliers
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of sourcing and purchasing practices in the cosmetic industry
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of procurement software
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus
Experience:
- At least 5 years experience as a procurement manager withing Cosmetic retail/FMCG industry
