An industry leader in the industrial weighing equipment industry is searching for a skilled Electronics Manager

Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronics Manager to join our team in the industrial weighing equipment industry. The Electronics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electronic components and systems used in our weighing equipment. This individual must have extensive knowledge and experience in electronics engineering, as well as strong leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of electronics technicians in the development of electronic components and systems
  • Design, develop and test electronic circuits and systems to meet product specifications and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the integration of electronic components into weighing equipment, working closely with mechanical and software engineers
  • Develop and implement testing procedures to ensure the reliability and performance of electronic systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electronic components and systems
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in electronic design and development
  • Manage projects and flow of the electronics department
  • Identify problem areas in the department and implement improvements
  • Compile a management system for department documentation and data sheets

Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering or related electronic engineering field, Master's degree preferred
  • 5 or more years of experience in electronics engineering
  • Solid understanding of electronic circuit design, PCB layout, and firmware development
  • Experience with CAD software, simulation tools, and test equipment
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead a team and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and certifications for electronic components
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced working environment
