Position Summary:
A world-renowned cardiothoracic surgeon is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Practice Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the practice, including managing the administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards, and maintaining high-quality patient care.

Salary:                               
R 25 000 per month/R300 000 per annum

Working Hours:            
Monday to Thursday from 08H00 – 17H00 and Fridays from 08H00 – 12H00

Workplace:                   
Olivedale Netcare hospital

Minimum Requirements:            

  • The successful incumbent must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience within a similar medical working environment.
  • The successful incumbent must have a valid driver’s license.
  • The successful incumbent must have the ability to work on the software Altron Elivir Live Programme.
  • The incumbent must possess the following skills or fulfil the following requirements:
    • The ability to liaise and work with various medical aids.
    • The ability to schedule the surgeon’s theatre lists for three hospitals where the Dr operates.
    • The incumbent must be fluently conversant in English and Afrikaans.
    • The incumbent must be computer literate and competent to work on Microsoft Office.
    • The ability to work under pressure.
    • The incumbent must be dependable, reliable and act in a professional manner at all times.
    • The ability to work independently and be output driven.
    • The ability to do invoicing and accounting with reference to patients’ accounts
    • The ability to schedule appointments for patients and to manage the time of the Medical Professional.
    • The ability to demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.
    • The ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills.
    • The ability to demonstrate knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
    • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • The ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
    • The ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and administrators, to ensure coordinated patient care.
    • The willingness to run personal errands on behalf of the Medical Professional.
