Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and creatively driven Junior Graphic Designer to join our in-house team at a fast-paced cosmetic manufacturing company.
This role is ideal for someone who can transform design concepts into precise, print-ready artwork and has a passion for brand consistency, emerging trends, and visual storytelling.

You'll work primarily on direct-to-print designs across packaging and product materials, with the opportunity to grow into more conceptual and strategic design work as you develop in the role.
Experience:
The successful incumbent must possess at least two (2) years’ experience in a similar role within the cosmetic retail sector (internships or freelance experience welcomed).
Requirements:
Shortlisted candidates will be expected to undergo psychometric testing and background screening, including criminal reference checks and ITC checks.

Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Create Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Experience in creating an working with dielines and packaging layouts.
- Experience in the cosmetic, skincare or FMCG sector
- Awareness of sustainable packaging and design
- Translate initial design concepts into accurate, high-quality print-ready artwork, ensuring technical precision.
- Prepare files for production using various printing methods and substrates.
- Create dielines for secondary packaging and assist in adapting concept designs to fit within those dielines. Make sure files are prepped correctly for production.
- Collaborate with production teams and account managers to maintain visual and technical consistency across materials.
- Ensure all designs align with brand identity and adhere to strict brand and packaging guidelines.
- Apply current design and beauty market trends in a way that is relevant and appealing to our target consumers.
- Review and double-check all artwork for accuracy, spelling, placement, and print specifications.
- Support senior designers with campaign rollouts, visual concepts, and product launches.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual consistency across design applications.
- Understanding basic printing techniques and materials used in packaging and labeling.
- Awareness of current design and consumer trends in the beauty or lifestyle industry.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
