About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant with strong accounting skills to support our executive team. This hybrid role combines traditional Assistant responsibilities with financial oversight, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a knack for numbers.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
  • Handle confidential correspondence and communications
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting agendas
  • Maintain filing systems and ensure timely follow-ups

Accounting & Financial Support

  • Assist with bookkeeping, invoicing, and expense tracking
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare monthly financial summaries
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Liaise with external accountants and auditors
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Administrative Duties

  • Manage office supplies and vendor relationships
  • Organize events and team functions
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required by the executive
  • Type documents for management as an when required

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • A minimum of three years’ experience within as a personal assistant within the accounting sector
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Quickbooks, Xero)
  • Proficiency in computers and Microsoft Office

  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
  • Professional demeanour and proactive mindset
  • Familiarity with payroll and tax submissions is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of integrity and ethics 

 

Shortlisted candidates will be expected to undergo psychometric testing and background screening, including criminal reference checks and ITC checks.
